The clinic provides rapid access to cardiology consultations, testing and therapy with diagnostic and supportive follow up services.
A wide range of procedures is also available to patients who are referred by their physicians.
List of services:
- Electrocardiography to do a basic diagnostic test at rest.
- Treadmill exercise testing to help diagnose chest pain, to determine severity of angina and to confirm a cardiac arrhythmia under stress.
- Holter monitoring to get a continuous ECG recording for a 24-hour period in order to diagnose cardiac arrhythmia or chest pains.
- Continuous blood pressure recordings are taken at regular intervals during a 24 hour period. The patient must pay a fee of $ 20.00 for this test.
- Cardiac pacemaker clinic is provided to verify if pacemakers are functioning properly and adjustments are done at our clinic when necessary with the cardiologist.
- Loop monitoring is also used to diagnose syncope and cardiac arrhythmia by taking continuous electrocardiogram recordings for a period of 7 to 15 days.
- Spirometry and repeat with bronchodilator is also available to measure lung capacity.
